Biography

Claire O'Connor is a veteran voice actor, motion capture performer, and the pioneering founder of Tokyo's first online voice talent agency.

With an academic foundation from UCLA's Performing Arts Department and a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Touro University, Claire specializes in finding the nuanced, behavioral layers in every script. (She is a cross-cultural, organizational, and research psychologist — not a licensed clinical or practicing psychologist.) Her voiceover career centers on educational, corporate & medical, and documentary narration, and also spans video games and high-profile television dubbing, most notably for the long-running series "Iron Chef Japan."

A lifelong martial artist of diverse styles, including full-contact karate, Claire brings immense physical discipline to the motion capture stage. She was part of the pioneering era of video game motion capture, translating her martial arts training to the screen as Fong Ling in the "Resident Evil" franchise.

Originally from Los Angeles, Claire's early career took her to Tokyo, where she voiced multiple characters for a video game series that grew into years-long projects across global entertainment markets. That practice has since broadened into corporate narration, video games, anime & movie dubbing, documentaries, industrials, educational narration, audiobooks, and commercials.
